Aileen and the kids at the Canal

Aileen actually won her session months back, when I asked my fans to nominate a family for a free session. Aileen had just had her son Adam James, who you'll see later in the post, and we planned to do a newborn session when he came out of the NICU. Andrews journey was a little longer than anticipatd, but it turned out perfect because he was ready for his close-up in enough time to turn it into an all kiddo's session with his older brother and sister.
She's such a cutie pie.

He wanted to be a pirate, so I told him to give me his best pirate "arrrgh". Pretty convinceable, actually.

And finally ready for his close up, the new addition to the family.

This smile was worth the wait. :)

Amber & Joe at the IMA

I do believe this is the first and only photography session these two have had. I really hope my pictures have convinced them, they really need to do this more often, because they are so totally adorable!
This image is by far my favorite from the session. I love everything about it. Beautiful sun, beautiful greens, and beautiful couple? Check, check, and check!
I think I need a picture like this of me and my hubby, this is now on my to-do-list.

This was literally the LAST week the leaves were this lush and beautiful. I think it was meant for them. I went back only a few days later for another session, and all the leaves were gone, and it was so cold out. Thank you trees, for this lovely backdrop for this lovely couple.

The next set of pictures are a little different. You just have to know them. It's totally their style. A little out of the box, and abstract, and everyone loves them for it.

Nothing like playing shadow cops and robbers. It doesn't get more fun than that.

Mod squad say whaaaaaat?!!?

*love*

Doesn't love look adorable?

Joe, I hope you can appreciate the hottness of this picture. Just soak it in, soak it in.

Who holds hands like this? THEM! Told you, out of the box. Love it.

Hello through the fountain.

This was pretty fun. We tried this several times, facing different directions and everytime the leaves would just all go to Amber. The wind just kept switching directions on us. It was quite comical. So we switched one more time, and Joe was not allowed to throw leaves, and Amber threw them as much as she could right at Joe..... and they still came right back to her. haha

Little Grant..

I love newborn sessions. Love, love, love them. I know, it can be a lot of work because you never know what mood baby is in that day, or how they will react to having thier picture taken, but what is cuter than a newborn?? Plus it totally feeds my craving to have another one myself. haha So I had the pleasure of photographing little baby Grant, and he is A DOLL BABY!! I love every shot of this session, I just didn't know how to chose which pictures to show. :)

Dad and son, ah-dor-ah-ble!!

Love it!

You can't tell me this ain't sweet!

Tia is such a great mommy, little Grant is a lucky dude.

Mommy and baby high fives?? This family is officially awesome!

Had to get the silouhette because I think motherhood look good on her, and I wanted to show everyone else too.

Aww, baby toesies!

Gelinda & Danielle

I hit the butler campus with these two. It turned out to be a two-day event b/c the rain kept us inside the starbucks for most of the day on saturday, and when it finally broke, it didn't give us much of a window to work in. So we agreed to meet early Sunday morning and try again. I'm so glad we did, we got some great images.

Getting out a little Mother-daughter frustrations
Grrrr!

Oh, look, one from the first day. haha
And back to sunday images.

And now back to Saturday's images. Flips flops, and puddles, and rain. That sums up our saturday. haha At least it made for a cool shot.

Fun in Broadripple..

We did this session at broadripple park. They're energetic and fun, so we just let them go and do thier thing, and I did mine. I think it turned out quite nicely.

Looks fun doesn't it?

Love those eyes!

Too funny.

Aww, and one of them pretending to like each other for a second. hehe
